AI Newsletter Platform — Included in Every Plan

Collect, Plan, Generate, Send. All In Your Admin.

A complete newsletter system built into your AI business website. Visual bulletin board for planning, 5-agent AI workflow for content generation, Resend delivery with open/click tracking, A/B subject testing, and best-time-to-send optimization. No Mailchimp. No ConvertKit. No extra bill.

Your Newsletter. Built Into Your Platform. No Mailchimp Required.

Most small businesses run their newsletter on a separate tool — Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Substack — disconnected from their website, CRM, and content. Another login. Another bill. Another thing that doesn't talk to anything else.

AI Business Sites includes a complete newsletter platform built into your admin panel. Collect signups from your website, plan content on a visual bulletin board, generate newsletter emails with a 5-agent AI workflow, send through Resend, and track opens, clicks, and subscriber growth — all without leaving your dashboard.

Visual Bulletin Board — Plan With Post-It Notes

Forget blank text editors and rigid templates. Your newsletter board is a corkboard — a visual canvas where you drag and drop post-it note cards to plan each edition.

Add notes, images, URLs, and section headings. Drag them around, color-code them, lock recurring cards (like your CTA or social links), and organize your content visually before the AI writes a single word.

  • Four card types — Note (yellow post-it), Image (white card with preview), URL (blue post-it with context), Heading (bold section label)
  • Drag-and-drop positioning — cards can be placed anywhere on the board, positions saved automatically
  • Card templates — 8 pre-built layouts: Product Spotlight, Customer Story, Quick Tip, Upcoming Event, Industry News, Special Offer, Blog Highlight, CTA
  • Lock cards — pin recurring content (headers, CTAs, social links) so they can't be accidentally dragged or deleted
  • Color coding — yellow, blue, green, pink, purple post-it colors for visual organization
  • Z-order control — click a card to bring it to the front
  • Copy Last Board — duplicate all cards from the previous period with one click

5-Agent AI Workflow — Not a Single Prompt

Just like our content engine, your newsletter is generated by a team of specialized AI agents — not a single prompt pasted into ChatGPT. Each agent has one job and does it well.

Click "Generate Newsletter" and the 5-agent pipeline runs: collector gathers your cards and scrapes URLs, planner proposes a section structure, section writers draft each section in parallel, assembler merges everything into a branded HTML email, and validator checks tone, links, length, and spam triggers.

  • Collector Agent — gathers all card content, scrapes URL cards via Firecrawl, organizes raw material into structured JSON
  • Planner Agent — proposes newsletter section structure based on collected material + brand config + cadence
  • Section Writers — parallel LLM calls, one per section, each with your brand context and tone of voice
  • Assembler Agent — merges section HTML into a complete email with inline CSS, header (logo + newsletter name), footer (unsubscribe link, social links), subject line, and preheader text
  • Validator Agent — checks tone match, brand colors/fonts, link validity, word count, spam trigger words, unsubscribe link presence, image alt text, and calculates a spam score (0-10)

Smart Content Sources — RSS, Blog Posts, AI Suggestions

You don't have to start from scratch every week. The board pulls content from multiple sources so you always have material to work with.

Import RSS feeds from industry blogs and news sites — new items auto-create URL cards on your draft board. Import your own blog posts as URL cards with one click. Or hit "Suggest Content" and the AI scans your recent blog posts, website changes, and trending industry news to pre-populate 3-5 relevant cards.

  • RSS auto-import — configure feed URLs, toggle auto-import on, and the cron job fetches new items and creates URL cards automatically
  • Import Blog Posts — pull your latest 5 blog posts from the content engine as URL cards
  • AI Suggest Content — scans your blog posts, website (via Firecrawl), and industry news (via SearXNG) to suggest 3-5 cards
  • Recycle Top Cards — view cards from past sends ranked by click-through rate, click to import high-performers onto your current board
  • URL card scraping — when you add a URL card, the collector agent scrapes the page via Firecrawl and combines the content with your context notes

Subscriber Management — Built Into Your CRM

Newsletter subscribers are contacts in your CRM — not a separate list in a separate tool. When someone signs up via your embeddable form, a Contact is created with `newsletterSubscribed = true`. You can see them alongside your leads and customers, tag them, segment them, and manage everything from one place.

Import existing subscribers via CSV. Export anytime. Create segments based on tags for targeted sends. No separate subscriber database to manage.

  • Embeddable signup form — lightweight JS snippet for your website, no iframe needed
  • Dedicated webhook endpoint — POST signups from any form, landing page, or third-party tool
  • CSV import — bulk import subscribers with email + optional name
  • CSV export — export your full subscriber list anytime
  • Tag-based segments — create segments by selecting tags (OR match logic), send to specific segments
  • Welcome email automation — auto-send a welcome email on new signup with configurable delay
  • One-click unsubscribe — CAN-SPAM compliant, automatically updates contact status

Brand-Styled Emails — Your Colors, Your Fonts, Your Voice

Every newsletter is styled with your brand. Configure your newsletter name, logo, primary and accent colors, font family, and tone of voice in the settings page. The assembler agent bakes these into every email with inline CSS — so your newsletter looks like you, not a generic template.

Choose from professional, conversational, casual, technical, or playful tones. Add brand context ("We are a plumbing company in Chicago serving residential customers...") and the AI writes content that matches your business.

  • Newsletter name, logo upload, primary/accent color pickers
  • Font family selection — Inter, Georgia, Helvetica, and more
  • Tone of voice — Professional, Conversational, Casual, Technical, Playful
  • Brand context textarea — tell the AI about your business, audience, and USP
  • From name and reply-to email overrides
  • Custom sending domain — use your verified domain or the default news.aibusinesssites.com

Email Client Preview — See It Before You Send

Email rendering is notoriously inconsistent. Gmail strips style blocks. Outlook uses a Word-based rendering engine. Apple Mail is the most permissive. The preview button shows your newsletter in all three modes before you send — catching broken layouts, missing fonts, and unsupported CSS before your subscribers see them.

Not a perfect emulation, but it catches the major rendering issues that would make your newsletter look unprofessional.

  • Gmail preview — strips `<style>` blocks, applies Gmail CSS resets, shows inline CSS rendering
  • Outlook preview — simulates Word-based rendering with tables-based layout and limited CSS support
  • Apple Mail preview — closest to raw HTML rendering (most permissive)
  • Send Test button — sends the newsletter to your own email address for a real-world preview

A/B Subject Line Testing — Let the Data Decide

Your subject line is the most important factor in whether your newsletter gets opened. Stop guessing. The AI generates two subject line variants, and the system tests them automatically.

A test slice (default 10% of your list) receives both variants — split evenly. After a wait period (default 2 hours), the subject with the higher open rate is sent to the remaining 90% of subscribers. You see the results in your send history with side-by-side open rates and click rates.

  • AI generates 2 subject line variants per newsletter
  • Configurable test slice percentage (default 10%)
  • Configurable wait time before sending winner (default 2 hours)
  • Side-by-side results in send history — open rates, click rates, and which variant won
  • Fully automated via the cron dispatch — no manual intervention needed

Analytics That Actually Help You Improve

Open rates and click rates are table stakes. The newsletter analytics dashboard goes deeper — showing you trends over time, which links got the most clicks, when your subscribers are most likely to open, and which content performs best across all your past sends.

Every send is tracked: opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, and per-link click counts. The system auto-calculates your optimal send time based on historical open rates and recommends it with a heatmap grid.

  • Trend charts — open rate and click rate over your last 12 sends, spotting engagement trends
  • Link click heat map — visual overlay on the HTML showing which links got the most clicks, with click counts
  • Best time to send — auto-calculated from historical open rates by day-of-week × hour, with a heatmap grid and "Apply to cadence" button
  • Subscriber growth — area chart showing total subscriber count over time
  • Top performing content — cards with the highest click-through rates across all past sends, with "Reuse on current board" button
  • Spam score breakdown — detailed report of spam trigger checks per send
  • A/B test results — side-by-side comparison when A/B testing is enabled

Spam Score Check — Don't Hit the Promotions Tab

The validator agent runs a spam assessment on every newsletter before it sends. It checks for common spam triggers — flagged words, excessive capitalization, too many exclamation points, poor image-to-text ratio, short URLs (bit.ly etc.), and more.

Each newsletter gets a spam score from 0-10 (lower is better). If the score exceeds 7, the send is blocked and you're warned to review and regenerate. The detailed breakdown shows exactly what triggered the score so you can fix it.

  • Spam word detection — flags common spam trigger words in subject and body
  • Excessive caps check — too many capitalized words in subject line
  • Excessive exclamation check — too many exclamation points
  • Image-to-text ratio — flags emails with too many images and not enough text
  • Short URL detection — flags bit.ly and similar short URLs
  • Score > 7 blocks the send — admin must review and regenerate
  • Detailed spam report stored per board for review

Scheduled Sends + Cron Automation

Set your cadence — weekly or monthly — and the system auto-creates boards for each upcoming period. Schedule a send for a specific date and time, and the cron job picks it up, generates the content (if not already done), and sends it via Resend.

RSS auto-import runs on the same cron — fetching new items from your configured feeds and creating URL cards on your current draft board. You can set it and forget it.

  • Weekly or monthly cadence with configurable send day and time
  • Auto-creates boards for upcoming periods — never start from a blank board
  • Schedule sends for specific dates — cron handles dispatch automatically
  • RSS auto-import — cron fetches new feed items and creates cards
  • A/B test flow — cron manages the test slice, wait period, and winner send
  • All automated via a single cron endpoint secured with CRON_SECRET

Fully Integrated — Not Another Tool

The newsletter system isn't a bolted-on feature. It's deeply integrated into your platform. Subscribers are CRM contacts. Blog posts can be imported as cards. The AI assistant can manage subscribers. The content engine feeds the newsletter. The automation engine handles welcome email delays. Everything talks to everything.

One login. One dashboard. One monthly fee. No Mailchimp bill. No ConvertKit subscription. No Substack cut.

The newsletter platform is included in every plan — no per-subscriber pricing, no send limits, no upgrade tiers. See pricing
